Susitna River Access

There will be no nearby market, 7-11, Gas station, Liquor store, and no beauty salon. There are animals here that can ruin your day quite quickly if you are not prepared with the right equipment and that includes high powered rifles, handguns and knives. Your neighbors will be caribou, moose, and bears. You are not going to drive there in a Toyota Prius. Access by the Susitna River, ATV, snow machine or air taxi are the most common methods. This property would be perfect for accessing the Susitna River and catching fish. The Alaska Railroad is located near the easterly border of the property. Make sure to do your research before attempting to reach the property. You can build a cabin over time with the timber on the land if you wish or bring in building supplies over time as others have done to build. There are great views of Mt. McKinley and the world-famous Aurora Borealis (northern lights). Fairbanks Alaska is considered one of the best places to see the Northern Lights in the world. Fairbanks is located inside the Aural Oval, which hovers over the North Pole, which greatly increases the chance to see the Northern Lights. The Aurora season is typically from August 21st through April 21st. This lot would be perfect for the avid fisher, hunter or social distancer. The property is located less than 4 miles from Denali Brewing, which has great beer and food and just over 8 miles from Talkeetna, which offers multiple flightseeing tours, riverboat tours, fishing, float trips, hiking, festivals and Nordic skiing to name a few. There is some amazing fishing in the area, you can catch king salmon, silver salmon, pink salmon, rainbow trout, northern pike, arctic grayling, or even try bowfishing, ice fishing.
