Yreka is the County Seat for Siskiyou County and is located approximately 15 miles from the land. In Yreka you will find professional services, doctors, hospitals, and shopping with major stores, such as Wal-Mart. The land is located about 4 miles east of Interstate 5. Approximately three miles upstream from the land is the Iron Gate Reservoir and one of California's State Fish Hatcheries. Further upstream, about 9 miles, is Copco Lake. The area is known for its outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting, off roading, water skiing and bird watching. Iron Gate Reservoir, Copco lakes and the Klamath River offer tremendous Trout and Salmon fishing. Wildlife abounds in this area with deer sometimes more common than people. Bobcat, Mountain Lion, Lynx, Coyotes, Wild Turkeys, and Bald Eagles are not uncommon sights.
The annual taxes are approximately $80 and the HOA is about $20 per month and are subject to change.
