About this Land

Great, mostly wooded Alaska property, 18.99 acres, bordering a creek with over 1,300 feet of frontage and less than a mile to Hiline Lake. There are only a handful of cabins on the lake at this time. The property has 30 foot easements around each border for multiple access points. Please take the time before you read any further to understand this property is located in a remote portion of rural Alaska: The Last Frontier, The Wild Wild West. There will be no nearby market, 7-11, Gas station, Liquor store, and no beauty salon. There are animals here that can ruin your day quite quickly if you are not prepared with the right equipment and that includes high powered rifles, handguns and knives. Your neighbors will be caribou, moose, and bears. You are not going to drive there in a Toyota Prius. You can build a cabin over time with the timber on the land if you wish or bring in building supplies over time. There are great views of Mt. McKinley and the world-famous Aurora Borealis (northern lights). Fairbanks Alaska is considered one of the best places to see the Northern Lights in the world. Fairbanks is located inside the Aural Oval, which hovers over the North Pole, which greatly increases the chance to see the Northern Lights. The Aurora season is typically from August 21st through April 21st. One route to the property is to fly over the beautiful scenery into nearby Hiline Lake and hike just over one mile to the property. Can also access via ATV or snow machine on nearby trails, although we do not have a current trail guide, please prepare prior to departure. There is no additional navigation or guidance to the property available at this time. This lot would be perfect for the avid fisher, hunter or social distancer. The property is located about 44 miles from Willow, near Skwentna, both of which offers many mostly outdoor activities. There is some amazing fishing in the area, you can catch king salmon, silver salmon, pink salmon, rainbow trout, northern pike, arctic grayling, or even try bowfishing, ice fishing. There are no utilities to the property, as is the case with nearly all Alaska property outside city limits. There are no time limits to build your cabin. Property taxes are approximately $175 annually and subject to change.
