Please take the time before you read any further to understand this property is located in a remote portion of rural Alaska: The Last Frontier, The Wild Wild West. There will be no nearby market, 7-11, Gas station, Liquor store, and no beauty salon. There are animals here that can ruin your day quite quickly if you are not prepared with the right equipment and that includes high powered rifles, handguns and knives. McKinley and the world-famous Aurora Borealis (northern lights). Fairbanks Alaska is considered one of the best places to see the Northern Lights in the world. Fairbanks is located inside the Aural Oval, which hovers over the North Pole, which greatly increases the chance to see the Northern Lights. The Aurora season is typically from August 21st through April 21st.
Access is by ATV, snow machine or foot. The property is located less than 7.5 miles from Talkeetna Spur Road and is approximately 1.5 miles from the end of East Loriens Trail. Riverrunning Loop Road (undeveloped) is located on the southerly side of the parcel. Please do research and bring a map to ensure finding the correct parcel. The property is mostly covered with Birch and Spruce trees and has mountain views. North Fork Montana Creek is located south easterly of the property.
